The funding will help the firm expand its exports and capitalise on growth opportunities in overseas markets.

MET Medical Ltd, a St Albans based private ambulance service, has purchased six additional emergency response vehicles and hired 20 new staff following £300,000 funding from Santander Business Banking. Belfast’s most exclusive hair salon, Andrew Mulvenna Hair (AM Hair), is moving to new premises following £276,000 funding from Santander Business Banking. Linda Lewis Kitchens Ltd (“LLK”), an Oldham-based importer of high-quality, Italian-manufactured catering equipment for UK restaurants, food outlets and professional caterers, is set to start exporting for the first-time following funding from Santander Business Banking.

Disability charity, Kangaroos Mid Sussex, has received £5,000 to fund a new support group with the aim of helping members move from the charity’s teenage club to programmes focused on adults. This new ‘transition’ group will offer a range of stimulating activities, including cooking and craft sessions, for people with learning disabilities who are aged 16 to 21 and living in and around Haywards Heath.

Frome-based cancer counselling charity We Hear You (WHY) has secured a £5,000 grant to fund its online counselling service. The service supports adults in Somerset, Bath and Wiltshire who are affected or bereaved by cancer or other life-threatening conditions.
